If I was diagnosed with a severe illness, knowing that my life expectancy would be only a few weeks to live.......I would definitely hop on the next flight to Spain, stay the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella and lavish myself by the pool with a pitcher of Sangria! Honestly, I wouldn't even need to wait until the diagnosis to get on the plane!! haha My favorite hotel in the world is the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella, Spain. I love their staff (who have been there for 20+ years), the proximately to the Playa (a casual 4 mile walk along the Oceanside from the hotel to Marbella city center).....and the rooms and food at the hotel are to die for! Often I travel alone to Spain.....which being a woman is often very exciting to put it bluntly! I am always approached by new and interesting people that I timidly offer to share my Sangria with..!
You can make Sangria out of Champagne, White Wine, Rose Wine or Red Wine.....my personal favorite is the traditional Red Wine Sangria! Perfect for a summer BBQ, a casual drink by the pool or even a camping trip! You'll love the "kick" that you get from the triple sec and brandy!
